A Change of Season

"If they made me crawl, would you love me then?" - Matthew Good Band, Underdogs, 1997

So, school is back in. What does this mean, you ask? No? Well, I'll tell you regardless, and you will either go get a drink, and hope that you've somehow skipped this whole sentence, much like missing a commercial interrupting your otherwise hilarious episode of Generic Fat Man Marries Hot Girl, or read it all grudgingly (most likely both). It means a new house, a new job, new wines, new music, new candy, new foods, new love, and, most importantly, the revival of sweater season.

I look forward to breaking out my Cowichan sweaters again.

A few things to look forward to:

1) My Mother's Retirement Party - I'll be making a bunch of food and such, there will be drinks and music and dance and song and my mother. All the things I love most. (Sept.22/2007)

2) Head of the Trent - Beer gardens! What's wrong with this picture? Nothing! Beer meets outside and friends and such. I guess there are some boats too? Not sure about that though. (Sept.30/2007)

3) Matthew Good @ Showplace Theatre - One of my all-time favourite artists (and all-time guilty pleasures) performing a solo acoustic tour, which I'll be attending with some of my closest friends, perhaps with a nice dinner prior, and coffee or drinks afterwards. (Oct.23/2007)

Looks like a decent start to the end to the year, as well as a decent start to the revival of this blog.

Note: I can almost guarantee that only I remember my password and such for this blog, so if you want to be able to post, just make an account and I'll confirm you.
